Informations à propos des directeurs du scrutin
Les directeurs et directrices du scrutin sont nommés par la lieutenante-gouverneure sur la recommandation du directeur général des élections.
Ils sont responsables de l’administration de l'élection générale qui aura le 27 février dans la circonscription électorale qui leur a été attribuée.
Leurs responsabilités incluent:
- louer, gérer et doter en personnel leur bureau électoral local
- effectuer des évaluations de l’accessibilité de chacun des lieux de vote
- identifier et louer les lieux de vote
- recruter, former et déployer les fonctionnaires électoraux qui travailleront dans les lieux de vote
- veiller à ce que les processus de vote respectent la législation
- restituer les résultats officiels
