Surveys
We survey voters, election officials, candidates and other stakeholders, to gather feedback which helps us to improve our processes and to enhance voter experience.
These surveys are conducted by Elections Ontario, in partnership with Canadian research firms, Léger and Advanis, by phone or email, and in person.
Our surveys run from January 30 to March 14.
Voters
We survey voters to evaluate:
- voters’ experience in registering, accessing voting locations, and casting their ballot.
- effectiveness of Elections Ontario’s advertising campaigns on when, where, and how to vote.
- public trust in Ontario’s electoral process.
Local election office staff and election officials
We survey election officials who worked at a local election office or at voting locations during advance voting and on election day. Feedback on their experience working for Elections Ontario helps us improve training, support and operational processes.
Candidates and political entities
We survey candidates, chief financial officers, and party representatives on feedback regarding the services, tools, and support they received from Elections Ontario during the election.
