General
In the app, you’ll be able to find your:
- voter information
- voting locations for advance voting and on election day
- returning office address and contact information
- list of candidates
- scannable version of your voter information card
No, you will not be able to cast your ballot through the app. Elections Ontario must strike a balance between maintaining the integrity and security of the electoral process and providing electors with modern, responsive and efficient service.
Signing in
If you’ve forgotten your password, select the 'Forgot your password?' link from the sign in page and enter your email address. You will be sent a one-time verification code by email.
Enter the code into the app when prompted and set a new password.

Linking your account
Linking your account connects your app account with your information on the Register.
Once your account is linked, you’ll be able to access your voting locations, access personalized notifications and receive a scannable version of your voter information card.
Bring your phone with your scannable voter information card when you go to vote.
To link your account, select the 'Check' button in the 'Are you registered to vote?' box on the welcome page of the app.
This will connect you to Voter Registration, where you can search for your information on the Register and connect it to your app account or add your information if you are not on the Register.
To unlink your account, go to 'Settings' then 'Account Information' and select the 'Delete account data' button to unlink your account.
Unlinking your account will not remove your information from the Register. Your user account will remain active and you will be able to sign back into this application with your existing credentials.
Guest and Basic accounts
Changing your home address in the app will not change your home address on the Register.
To update your home address on the Register, you will need to link your app account to your information on the Register.
To link your account, select the 'Check' button in the 'Are you registered to vote?' box on the app. Follow the link to update your information online.
Linked accounts
Changing your home address information will change your home address on the Register.
To update your home address on the Register, go to 'Settings' and 'Account Information'.
Under where your home address is shown, select 'Change Elector Information'. Follow the link to update your information online.
To update your name on the Register, go to 'Settings' and 'Account Information'.
Under where your name and address are shown, select 'Change Elector Information'. Follow the link to update your information online.
Notifications
Through the app, you can be notified about:
- Urgent updates
- Voter registration
- Candidate information
- Early voting
- Voting by mail
- Election day voting
- Accessible voting
- Election jobs
- Election night results
You can get notifications about important election dates through the app.
Sign into the app and select 'Settings'. Select 'Notifications' and choose how you would like to be notified (by email or text).
Choose what topics you would like to be notified about. For important election dates, you may want to select:
- Urgent notifications
- Early voting
- Voting by mail
- Election day voting
To change your notification preferences, sign into the app and select 'Settings'.
Select 'Notifications' and choose how you would like to be notified (by email or text).
Then choose what topics you would like to be notified about. You can also choose 'Select all', to receive all notifications, or 'Select none', to turn notifications off.
To turn off notifications, sign into the app and select 'Settings' from the bottom toolbar.
Select 'Notifications'. You can turn off notifications for your phone or choose 'Select none' for the topics you wish to be notified about.
Check that you have linked your account and have notifications turned on in the app.

If you still aren’t receiving notifications, check the notification settings on your phone to make sure notifications for the app are enabled.
To delete notifications, select 'Edit' and select the notification you wish to remove. Select 'Remove' and 'Remove selected'.
Security
Use of the app is optional. The types of personal information collected in the app will depend on the services the elector chooses to subscribe to and may include: email address, postal code, home address, electoral district, name, date of birth and/or copies of photo ID. To learn more about what personal information is collected and how it is used and safeguarded, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
Deleting the app will not delete your account and it will not remove your information from the Register. Your user account will remain active and you will be able to sign back into this application with your existing credentials.
